Paint will only perform as well as the surface it’s going on. All surfaces you wish to paint with Fusion needs to be de-glossed with sandpaper, imagine the sandpaper is a cloth and wipe it all over, even a large sideboard shouldn’t take no more than 5 mins. If you would like to paint a high gloss, lacquered surface, metal or glass apply a coat of Fusion Ultra Grip for excellent results!

Fusion Mineral Paint is formulated with a built in top coat, the 100% acrylic resin. You do not need to use a top coat for water permanency. Fusion is a matte finish and allows you to achieve a beautiful smooth finish. You should allow at least 2 hours in between coats. Fusion can be distressed or layered. If you wish to distress Fusion we suggest you do it soon after the paint dries, as once cured Fusion is tough.
