Home Revival Interiors is where my long-standing passion for furniture painting, interiors and creative problem-solving meets years of hands-on and professional experience within the paint and creative industry.
I’ve been painting and upcycling furniture for over two decades, learning my craft the practical way, in paint-splattered clothes, through trial, experimentation and an ongoing curiosity to understand how products and finishes really perform in real homes.
Furniture painting began as a personal passion and naturally evolved into a professional endeavour, encompassing refinishing, education, and content creation. Over the years, I’ve worked closely with premium paint brands, taught and mentored painters and retailers, and tested products extensively through real world projects rather than theory alone.
Founder of the Painters Business Academy
I am also the founder and co-organiser of the Painters Business Academy, a fully immersive two-day business and education event for furniture painters.
The Painters Business Academy is the only dedicated furniture painters’ conference in the world, bringing together professional painters, educators, and leading brands to share knowledge, skills, and business strategies in a collaborative and supportive environment.
The event is supported by major industry brands and attracts attendees from across the world. Creating a space for painters to learn, connect and grow sustainable businesses has been one of the most rewarding parts of my career.
Still painting, always learning
Although my work now also includes freelance writing, content strategy and consultancy within the creative and paint space, furniture painting remains a personal passion and ongoing practice.
I continue to paint regularly, experimenting with finishes, testing techniques and refining processes so that everything shared on this site is grounded in experience, not trends. Staying hands-on is important to me, it keeps my advice relevant, honest and useful.
